The Genomics Core at The George Washington University provides a variety of genomics services to the research community, from Library preparation to Next Generation Sequencing. Led by The Milken Institute School of Public Health, and in partnership with the Informatics Core and the Bioinformatics Unit, both part of the Clinical and Translational Science Institute at Children's National (CTSI-CN).
We conduct Nucleic Acid extraction, Library preparation, Quality Control, Next Generation Sequencing, Amplicon amplification, Covaris shearing, among other services. Through our partnership with the Informatics Core of the CTSI-CN, we also conduct bioinformatics analyses and consultations. See All Services »
Our Core is equipped with a MiSeq, NextSeq 500, MinIon, Qubit, and a Bioanalyzer.
