Dr. Crandall is the Genomics Core Director and as such, oversees all services and activities. He is an active researcher and professor at The George Washington University, with an appointment at the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences in the Biological Sciences and is the Director of the Computational Biology Institute.  

His areas of expertise are: Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Phylogenetics, Infectious Disease, Crustacean Systematics, Molecular Evolution, HIV, Population Genetics, Bacterial Genomics, Conservation Genetics.

becca clement

Becca is a PhD student in the Computational Biology Institute and is responsible for Core management and implementation of Core services. She is Illumina certified and has received extensive training on the services offered. Her research is focused on discovering evolutionary relationships in insects with a current project focusing on Australian termites.
